He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Swiertz and Patricia Swiertz; and his siblings, Carol Fulcer (Dick), Robert and Jack.
He is survived by: his wife Deb; his daughters, Jessica Hejny (Richard) and Breanna (Conor); his sisters, Terri Omsberg (Matt) and Maripat Johnson (Raymond); his grandchildren, Charlotte and Niko; and his close friends, Ron, Mike and Gwen. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
