He is survived by: his daughters, Susan Ott (Jerry), Sandra Helmer, Debra Jones (David) and Bonnie Miller (Timothy); his grandchildren, Christopher Ott, Jackson Helmer (Angie Simon), Katrina Helmer (Timothy Roberts) and Bradley Miller; his wife Mary Lou; his siblings, Iver Rudie (Diane) and June Kaepernick; and his siblings-in-law, Ann Rudie and Leonard Doran.
