He was predeceased by: his wife Aloma; his parents, Edison Turner and Mildred Turner (Rafferty); and his parents-in-law, Malcom and Alva Cook (Bailey) of Ohio.

He is survived by: his children, Jacque Turner, Rita Hibbard (Bill), Regina Turner, Green Bay and Eric Turner (Michelle); his grandchildren, Willie Turner (Sarah), Amanda Ellie (Josh), Austin Turner, Brandon Turner, Kayla Turner, Hannah Turner, Laura Turner, Angel Turner, Dylan Hibbard and Dalton Hibbard; his sister Kay Cook; his siblings-in-law, Ometta Jean Cook, Edith Whittekind (Donald), Randall Cook (Judy), Ben Cook, Burbridge Barnett Cook (Molly), Rev. James Haynes and Steve Carter; his siblings, Richard Turner (Mary) and Nancy Carter; his sister-in-law Malcom Cook Jr.; and his grandson Lucas Hibbard. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and special friends.
