With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Norbert William Pomerenke (Menasha, Wisconsin), who passed away on January 7, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry William and Verna Mae Pomerenke (Pike); his wife Ruth Price; his grandson Mark Acaley; and his siblings, Duane Pomerenke, Leslie Pomerenke, Dwight Pomerenke, Neil Pomerenke, Wesley Pomerenke, Doris Corbin and Alfred Pomerenke.
He is survived by: his children, Susan Acaley (David), Marian Fenlon (William), Janine Heid, David Pomerenke (Carmela), Douglas Pomerenke (Mary Ellen) and Ronald Pomerenke; his grandchildren, Michelle Rice (Brody), Therese Tishakov (Pavel), BJ Acaley (Michelle), Emily Fenlon, Peter Fenlon (Gaby Neuman), Victoria Fenlon, Eric Heid (Sarah Iverson), Jonathan Heid, Joshua Heid (Madhuvanthi Sridhar), Eric Pomerenke, David Pomerenke, Jr., Angela Kvalheim (Jon), Shaun Pomerenke (Katie Lohr) and Charles Oberweiser (Crys); his great grandchildren, Mark Rice, Alaena Rice, Gregor Tishakov, Evan Tishakov, Adele Acaley, Rory Acaley, Alexandria Pomerenke, Colton Kvalheim and Cooper Kvalheim; and his siblings, LeRoy Pomerenke (Martha), Donavin Pomerenke, Beverly Dunbar and Darlene Thomas.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (300 Broad St, Menasha, WI 54952). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Appleton Highland Memorial Park (3131 N Richmond St, Appleton, WI 54911).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Trinity Lutheran Day School or Trinity Lutheran Food Pantry.
