He was predeceased by: his parents, Dutch Proctor and Cleo Proctor (Rothwell); and his spouse Terry Whiting. He is survived by: his stepson Kenneth Proctor (Erin); his stepgrandchild Jade of Madison; his stepson John Proctor (Anne); and his stepgrandchildren, Paige and Nicholas of Junction City.

In Lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 226 Washington Street, Menasha, WI, in Nick's memory.
