He was loved and cherished by many people including: his sons, Peter Ostermeier (Margaux Oliver) of Indianapolis, IN and Mark Ostermeier (Laurel Ostermeier) of Madison, WI; his granddaughters, Sarah Ostermeier (Bishwesh Joshi) of Dayton, OH and Anna Ostermeier of Ann Arbor, MI.; his parents, Anna Radlmeier and Franz Ostermeier; and his wife Eva Jilg.
Despite precautions, contracting Covid was a factor in his passing.
