She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Thompson and Inez Thompson (Hetletved); her brothers, Lester, Roger and Stanley Thompson; her brother-in-law Robert Fix; and her friend Fay Klima.
She is survived by: her husband Jerry Marcks; her children, Stacie Lecker (Paul) and Scott Marcks; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Lecker (Kayla Scaletty), Ethan Lecker, Emily Marcks and Maren Marcks; her siblings, Bennie Thompson, Della Jackson (Grady), Sharon Fix and Stella Vogel (Mark); and her sisters-in-law, Alice Thompson, Carol Thompson and Laura Thompson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the Valley Funeral Home (2211 N Richmond St, Appleton, WI 54911). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 4:30 PM at the same location.
