It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugene Smith of Menasha, Wisconsin, who passed away on August 18, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Eugene Smith to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Irene Smith and Melvin Smith, Sr.; his wife Carol Smith (Boldt); his daughter Gina; and his siblings, James Smith, Susan Roesler and Barbara Colson.
He is survived by: his children, Merrie C. Weyenberg (Dean), Stacey J. Krieck, Jill J. Hendricks (Eric) and Rocklyn R. Smith; his grandchildren, Michelle Weyenberg, Dana Mork (Erik), Amara Doctors (JD), Sean Miller-Smith (Katie), McKenzie Kempen, Dillon Kempen, Damian Smith, Madison Smith and Valorie Bacon; his great grandchildren, Landon and Lincoln Mork; his grandchildren, Kennedee Miller-Smith and MacKenzie Allison; and his brother Butch Smith. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established for St. Timothy Lutheran Church.
