She was predeceased by: her mother Josephine Yahr; her husband Allen Grinde; her daughter Anne; her sisters, Amy Urberg, Evelyn Twesme and Fernanda Simonson; and her granddaughter Erica B. Grinde.

She is survived by: her children, Melrose, Bette (Arlen Stern), Jon (Jane), Alyce (Steve Tracey), Allen, Brooke (Jocelyn) and Robert (Susan). She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and many loving nieces, nephews & cousins.
