It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merlin Irvine Baird of Melrose, Wisconsin, who passed away on February 23, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Olga Baird (Arneson) and Irvine Baird; his brothers, Shirley and Donald Baird; his brother-in-law Donald Stuhr; and his grandson Benjamin.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Mahlum; his sons, Lynn, Paul (Patty) and Wayne (Sheila); his grandchildren, Melissa (Ed), Mark (Kim), Matt and Alexander; his great grandchildren, Addison, Genevieve and Norah; his sister Alice; and his siblings-in-law, Ruth, Rosemary and Lloyd. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
