He is survived by: his wife Sharon Jean Johnson; his son Brent Mikkelson (Andrea) of Melrose; his grandchildren, Damien, Deven Mikkelson of Viroqua, Dalton Mikkelson (Ashley Arnold) of Melrose, Chasadie, Brody, Tyden, Nevaeh, Treyvan, Rhayna Mikkelson of Melrose, Makayla Pierce (Jared Krieger) of Steven Point, Bailey and Cade Pierce of Sparta; his sister Joyce Heineck (Roger) of Sparta; his sister-in-law Diana Mikkelson (Larry Rodenberg) of Onalaska; and his aunt Stella Bryhn of Blair. He is also survived by Many nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws.
