It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paula B. Polencheck of Mellen, Wisconsin, born in Ashland, Wisconsin, who passed away on April 28, 2022, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert H. Hawkinson and Betty P. Hawkinson (Swedman); her father-in-law Henry "Monty" Polencheck; her son Lance Polencheck; and her brother Lester Hawkinson.

She is survived by: her husband Bruce Polencheck of Mellen; her daughters, Sarah Hawkinson (Jason) of Caledonia, WI and Leah Polencheck of Mellen; her granddaughter Giana Turpin; her brothers, David "Butch" Hawkinson (Cheryl) of Esko, MN, Robert (Cindy) of Mequon, WI and Charles (Debbie) of Mellen; and her mother-in-law Eva Polencheck of Glidden, WI. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews as well as great-great nieces.
