He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius William and Ella Katherine Christl (Blosl); his parents-in-law, Norma Horalek, William and Elaine Marsh; his siblings, Robert Christl, Phyllis Anderson and Mary Chevalier; his brother-in-law Gene Anderson; and his nephews, Gene Kroll and Jonathan Tuthill.
He is survived by: his wife Sandy; his daughters, Kim Christl (Kelly) and Christina Christianson (Steven); his grandchildren, Jonnie Miller (Jeremy), Chelsea Christl, Jamahl, Isabella, Treyvon, Natalia Christl, Christl Burns-Roelli (Cole), Charles Christianson and Carter Christianson; his great grandchildren, Nathan Miller, Liam, Lola Christl, Kenni Marie and Agnes Margaret Roelli; his sister Lillian Kroll; and his siblings-in-law, Bobby Marsh, Blake Marsh (Jean), Buckly Marsh (Wendy), Ken Knutson (Ruth), Kevin Knutson (Esther), Bob Chevalier, Gail Tigges (Jerry) and Tammy Tuthill (David). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
