He is survived by: his wife Faith Riemer; his children, Allen Higgins (Nancy) of Medford, Debra Kennedy (Randy) of Medford, Dawn Higgins of Medford and Diane Ruesch (Pete) of Medford; his grandchildren, Heather, Megan, Jesse, Jamie, Nick, Michael, Kurt, Rachel, Andrea, Chelsey, Mallary and Adam; and his sister-in-law Irene Higgins of Medford. He is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
