It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sylvester A. Peterson (McFarland, Wisconsin), born in Rio, Wisconsin, who passed away on April 19, 2019, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Peterson and Carrie Peterson (Olson); and his siblings, John, Alvin Jr., Clinton, Donald Peterson and Doris Peterson.
He is survived by: his wife Loretta Shields; and his children, Allen "Pete" (Sharon), Richard "Dick" (Roxanne), Steven Peterson (Iris) and Carrie Shinstine (Mike). He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made Agrace HospiceCare or the McFarland Lutheran Church.
