He is survived by: his brother Gunard; his wife Anne Ford Janelsins; his children, Eriks of Wheeling, WV and Karlis of McFarland, WI; his siblings, Ruta Showalter of New Palestine and Gunars Janelsins (Joan) of Greenfield; his grandchildren, Maija Janelsins, Charlie Janelsins, Decker Janelsins and Edward Janelsins; his stepgranddaughters, Eve and Grace Ridenhour of Wheeling, WV; and his nieces, Krista Bridenthal (Charlie) and Alicia Nelson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to McFarland Lutheran Church.
