With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Homer Jerome Vick of McFarland, Wisconsin, born in Madison, Wisconsin, who passed away on May 4, 2024 at the age of 100. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Homer Jerome Vick to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Della Melida Hjortland Vick and Homer Levi Vick; his wife Elaine Vick; his sisters, Fran Balcken and Loretta Larson; and his granddaughter Christina Lynn Finley.
He is survived by: his children, Sherry (Randal Feig), Sue (Mark Finley) and Alan (Linda Vick); his grandchildren, Dan Feig (Marce), Scott Finley (Monica), Todd Finley (Taylor Brown), Aaron Finley (Masha), Lindsey Henry (Nate), Laura Stewart (Jack) and Carrie Highman (Tim); and his great grandchildren, Sofia, Ian, Alex Feig, Lucas, Matias, Charlotte, Alexander Finley, Thomas, Owen Gronna, Makeo, Leilani, Maverick and Ka'Lei Henry.
He and Elaine joined RSVP's volunteer program, which reported, "With Elaine assisting, Homer greets each youngster with an infectious smile and a promised gift to any student who learns to tie the square knot he demonstrates.".
