He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Verlyn Sears and Elsie Sears (Hodgson); his wife Gloria Knight Sears; his children, Kim Sears-Hacker (Jeff), Lynda Tanner (Myron), Steven and Kelly (Mendy); his grandchildren, Morgan Tanner, Sterling Hayashi-Tanner (Yacki), Kurt Hacker (Heather Bell), Jessie Maksen (Brian) and Scott Sears; and his sister Mary Debyle (Norbert). He was also cherished by 3 great-grandchildren.
