He was predeceased by: his parents, Gaspar Surita and Antonia Surita (Ramirez); his wife Dolores Juarez; his son Usevio Surita, Jr.; and his siblings, Remigio, Felipe and Francesca Salinas. He is also survived by His 21 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 22 great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, and many friends.
