He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Stortz and Catherine Stortz; his wife Charlotte Langenhorst; his children, Kathleen Greene and Steve Stortz; and his granddaughter Danielle Stortz.
He is survived by: his children-in-law, Thomas Greene and Debra Stortz (Mark Bodden); his grandchildren, Anthony Greene (Valerie), Daniel Greene (Mitzy), Eric Stortz (Kristin), Adam Stortz, Rachael Blatz (Jason), Erin Perry (Matt), Andrew Stortz (Samantha), Joshua Wild (Chrissy), Tyler Wild (Marieanna), Logan Wild (Jill), Zachary Zimmel and Jacob Zimmel (Deedee); and his siblings, John Stortz, Joe Stortz, Betty Niedermair and Delores Tank. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, & other relatives & friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church in Mayville or the American Legion Post 69.
