He was predeceased by: his parents, Reinhard Wolter and Julia Wolter of Mayville; and his siblings, Elizabeth "Bettie" Gerke, Dolores Krueger, Beverly Geschke, Reinhard Wolter II and Edward Wolter.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Giese of Mary's Catholic Church; his daughters, Stacey Hansen (Chad) and Stefanie Straveler (Dean); and his grandchildren, Tanner Hansen, Megan Straveler and Lindsey Straveler. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church-Mayville (112 S German St, Mayville, WI 53050). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
