He is survived by: his wife Lila Mae Baerwald; his sons, Scott Bachhuber of Mayville and Mark Bachhuber of Mayville; and his siblings-in-law, Emil Baerwald (Ione) of Mayville, Lorraine Baerwald of Horicon and Shirley Baerwald of Mayville. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
