He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Kurutz and Katherine Kurutz (Gruenas); his wife Kathryn Schmidt; and his siblings, Katherine Schwichtenberg and John.
He is survived by: his children, Paul Kurutz of Hollywood Beach, FL., Ellyn Kurutz (Dan Wrucke) of Horicon, Janet Tighe (William) of Mayville, Michael Kurutz (Lori) of Mayville and Anthony 'Tony' Kurutz (Vivian) of New York, NY.; his grandchildren, Alex Kurutz, Samantha Kurutz (Sam), Nicole Wheeler, Noah Wheeler, Jordan Wrucke, Christopher Tighe (Jessi), Jason Tighe (Kelsey), Alyssa Sayles (David), Joshua Kurutz (Brittney) and Eric Kurutz; his great grandchildren, Hailey, Liam, Michaela, Brayden, Adeline, Kinley, Brandt, Khloe and Kylie; and his friend Bonnie Fechhelm. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
