Kristy Lee Larson Obituary
Kristy Lee Larson of Mayville, went to be with the Lord July 26, 2024 at Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital with her husband Grady Bruce Larson by her side. Kristy was born September 28, 1954 in Milwaukee to the late Joe and Marlene (nee Seder) Sturmberg and was raised along with her siblings in Menomonee Falls. In 1976 she married Grady, who moved her to Stephen, MN where she would be a homemaker, learning what wheat farming life entailed. She had a daughter in 1978 and life was busy. In the mid eighties Grady's career change brought her back to Wisconsin settling into Mayville.
Kristy, loved the Lord and daily pursued a better understanding of Him and sharing that faith.
She was an artist at her core, making a beautiful home, decorated with her creations. She dabbled in every medium, with sewing and painting being her favorites. Many would benefit from her talents and handmade gifts. She loved all animals, especially cats, adopting and nursing back to health many strays over the years.
Kristy is survived by her husband Grady, daughter Kimberli, siblings Jay (Monika) Sturmberg, Deborah (Joseph) Weisling, Scott Sturmberg. Sister-in -law Tanya (Glen) Bergeron. Nieces, nephews, and other family members including her 5 kitties. Visitation will be held at Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home in Menomonee Falls on Saturday, August 10, 2024, from 11am until 12pm. Time of Sharing to follow at Noon. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Berean Call or to your local Humane Society would be appreciated.
