He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolf Sternat and Irene Sternat (Rost); his former wife Barbara Kohli Sternat; and his siblings, Merlin, Rudolf Jr., Earl, Arnold, Norbert Sternat, Elaine Geschke (Sternat) and Eunice Krivonak (Sternat).
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Sterr; his sons, Bruce Sternat (Kay) of Oshkosh and John Sternat of Beaver Dam; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Jane Sternat, Patty Sternat and Caroline Sternat. He is also survived by his family, friends.
