He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter Welak and Laura Welak (Okon); his spouse Elinor Serwe; his children, Arlitt Del Ponte (Wayne) of Mayville, Kate Stieve (Keith) of Mayville, Dennis Welak (Kim) of Horicon and Tim Welak (Patti Clement) of Horicon; his grandchildren, Kim Brown (Gill), Chris Neu (Greg), Jackie Beal (Dev), Shelly Walters (Jeff), Cory Welak (Kimberly), Keith Welak, Jenni Matuszeski (Mitch), Heather Tonn (Blake) and Ashley Welak (Becki Herbst); his brother Tom Welak (Diane); his sister-in-law Jeanette Welak; and his siblings, John, Eugene, Jeanette and Mary. He was also cherished by Great-Grandchildren, & Great-Great-Grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Mary Catholic Church or the Agnesian Cancer Center.
