He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Klug and Leta Klug (Wilke). He is survived by: his wife Laura Marie Koepsell; his daughter Doreen Van Ells (Chris); his granddaughters, Kaitlyn Zastrow (Caleb) and Hailey Van Ells (Cal Brook); and his siblings, Rogene Bolander (Dan) and Glen Klug (Marge). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

Memorial donations may be directed to St. John Lutheran Church in New Fane.
