He was predeceased by: his parents, Emma Pruetz Qualmann and Edwin Qualmann; and his siblings, Donald Qualmann (Ruth), Ralph Qualmann, Inez Krueger (Harold), Evelyn Bonack (Elmer) and Mickey Knecht (Henry).
He is survived by: his wife Diane; his children, Jean Qualmann-Anderson (Kevin) of Pewaukee, Dan Qualmann (Nancy) of Iron Ridge and John Qualmann (Leah) of Greenville; his grandchildren, Claire Koenig (Alex), Katie Chavez (Cirilo), Krista Qualmann, Marie Lorenz (Tyler), Lucas Qualmann (Alisha), Amy Qualmann, Sophia, Alaina, Karina and Carolina Qualmann; and his great grandchildren, Eladio, Dayanara, Ariana Chavez and William Koenig. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Bethany Lutheran Church in Hustisford.
