She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Kaiser and Helen Kaiser (Dessort); and her brother-in-law Terry Kanas. She is survived by: her husband Richard L. Ruenzel; and her siblings, Carol Rhode (Earl) of Pardeeville, Donald Kaiser (Barbara) of Horicon, Wayne Kaiser (JoAnn) of Mayville and Sharon Kanas of Mayville. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to St. Mary Catholic Church in Mayville or Riveredge Nature Center in Newburg.
