It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl D. Mahnke of Mayville, Wisconsin, who passed away on May 31, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph Mahnke and Elizabeth Mahnke (Uhl); and his siblings, Victor, Adolph and Marion.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Kahlhamer of Mayville; his daughters, Susan Schwantes (Dale) of Horicon and Nadeane Mattson (Guy) of Mayville; his grandchildren, Anthony Schwantes, David Schwantes (Jennifer) and Amanda Sullivan (Mike); his great grandchildren, Caroline Schwantes, Jefferey Schwantes, Amber Schwantes, Finnigan Sullivan and Corbin Sullivan; and his sisters, Phyllis Poppe of Watertown and Alice Lebakken of Galesville. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
