It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alex O. Kummerow of Mayville, Wisconsin, who passed away on October 26, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugo Kummerow and Lavina Kummerow (Brummond); and his siblings, Hilbert Kummerow (Martha), Arlene Feller (Leslie) and Ruth Schultz (Elmer).
He is survived by: his wife LaVonne Kahlhamer of Mayville; his children, Brenda Meyer (John) of Wausau, Linda Filipiak (Steve) of Stillwater, MN. and Paul Kummerow (Sandy) of Horicon; his grandchildren, Michael Straseske (Jessica), Nathan Straseske, Chris Meyer, Zac Filipiak, Payton Filipiak, Sidney Filipiak and Logan Kummerow; and his great grandchild Adelaide Straseske. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family asked that everyone wear a mask and to please respect social distancing guidelines.
