He was predeceased by: his parents, John Postava and Caroline Postava (Makowski). He is survived by: his sons, Eric and Walter Postava Jr.; and his friends, Zofia "Ma" Leja, Stan Leja (Veronica), Matthew Leja, Bart Leja and Lucas Leja. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
