Verna Lee Schoonover Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Verna Lee Schoonover of Mauston, Wisconsin, who passed away on September 19, 2021 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Orie Long and Eva Long (Bender); her husband George Schoonover of Ithaca, WI; her sister Vernell; her brother-in-law Charles Harris; her brothers, Orie Long (Dorothy), Garrie Burdell and Burdette; and her parents-in-law, Ruth, Jasper Peckham, Bryon, Joan Schoonover, Betty, Norbert Nelson and Stanley Schoonover.
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Beverly Schoonover. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and two god sons.
Memorials may be made to the American Legion Auxiliary or the Pine Valley Community Village.
