With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sidney Gene Mead (Mauston, Wisconsin), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 31, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Mead and Mildred Mead (Satterlee); his daughter Kathleen; his siblings, Charlotte Daniels, Shirley Kidd and Cecil Mead; and his brother-in-law Rich McGarty.
He is survived by: his wife Mary McGarty; his brother Carl Mead (Reedsburg); his children, Peggy Adank (Randy) of Lone Rock, Sidney Jr. Mead (Sally Mulroy) of Florida, John Mead (Karen) of Mauston, David Mead (Audra) of Wautoma and Richard Mead (Amy) of Plover; and his grandchildren, Adam, Heather, Amanda, Rabi, Damion, Katie and Riley.
