He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Walsh (McGarty) and John Walsh; his children, Mary Ellen, Michael and Catherine; his great grandchildren, Aislyn Yarroch and Mabel Walsh-Neuman; his brother James Walsh; and also Ellen Mae Buttner.
He is survived by: his spouse Shirley A. Fields; his children, Judy Neve (Eugene), John Walsh (Jeanne), James Walsh (Connie), Daniel Walsh (Lisa), David Walsh (Mary), Jackie Josing (Randy) and Jane Walsh (Nathan Kasten); and his grandchildren, Raquel Yarroch, Tanya Walsh-Laehn, Christina Olson, Tera Walsh, Tammi Walsh, Michael Walsh, Kelsey Donovan, Matthew Walsh, Dionne Walsh, Keira Walsh, Daniel Walsh, Clayton Walsh, Seth Walsh, Alex Walsh, Marisa Walsh, Kadence Walsh, Danni Jo Mehne, Kourtney Salverson and Klaudia Salverson. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to be made to St. Patrick Catholic School, Mauston.
