He was predeceased by: his parents, John Brickl and Lilian Brickl; and his siblings, Elsie Alt, Caroline Ederer, Marcella Faber, Margaret Mundth, Ed, Ralph, Jerry and Carl.
He is survived by: his family John; his wife Ginny; his children, Terry Brickl, Tammy Waltemath, Bobette "Bobbi" Steele (Todd) and Daniel Brickl (Kelly); his grandchildren, Michael, Mandy, Chad, Kristen, Kalli, Brenden, Danielle, Nickolas, Dominick, Kaleb, Kyhlie, Keith, Charlie, Ruby and Clark; and also Karen Davis (Scott). He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Carl W. Nelson Animal Shelter, Mauston, WI.
