He was predeceased by: his parents, George Pahlke and Estelle Pahlke (Olen); his wife Margaret Matteoni; his brother Richard; and his sister-in-law Barbara Pahlke.
He is survived by: his children, Kathleen Vorhies (William Jr) of Lake Villa, Karen Lowry (Mark) and Gregg Pahlke (Michelle) of Antioch; his grandchildren, Vanessa Klodnick (Eric), William Vorhies III (Michelle), Robert Vorhies, Rachel Lowry, Denise Lowry and Michel Donovan; his great grandchildren, Lucy Klodnick, Vivianna and Madison Vorhies; and his sister Susan Hallwas (James).
