He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis and Appolonia Hamm (Dornacher); his siblings, Leo, Earl, Ralph Hamm, MaryAnn Uravich, Lloyd S. Hamm, Rose Ann Hamm and Allen Hamm; and his granddaughter Jennifer.
He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline; his children, John Hamm (Mary Allison), Lynn Erickson (Kevin) and Mary Raabe (Mike); his daughter-in-law Diane Hamm; his grandchildren, Jill Glasenapp (Jarrad), Ken Hamm (Jacquie), Kyle Hamm (Megan), Craig Erickson (Cole), Dana Moose (Jordan) and Daniel Raabe; and his great grandchildren, Riley, Cecil, Forrest, Madalynn and Evelyn.
