He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Marten and Adeline Marten (Kowalske); his brother Carl Marten; and his brother-in-law Richard'Butch'Lundin. He is survived by: his wife Gail Steffen; his daughters, Amy Stahnke (Chris Hollander) of Wausau and Kara Marten (Cameron Oetjen) of Portland, OR; his grandchildren, Sophia and Jordan Stahnke; his nephew Dennis; his niece Julie Marten; his sisters, Vera Williams (James) and Linda Lundin; and his sister-in-law Jane Marten. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
