It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Brennecke of Mattoon, Wisconsin, born in Antigo, Wisconsin, who passed away on November 5, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Brennecke and Ethel Brennecke (Schabell); his wife Lorena Lucia; his daughter Wanda Abler; his son-in-law Bob Ostrander, Jr.; his grandson Shad Brennecke; and his siblings, Pearl Kasten, Shirley Brennecke, Betty Fonder (James), William and Eugene Brennecke.
He is survived by: his children, Debbie Ostrander of Antigo, Lori Harris of Green Bay and Steve Brennecke of Mattoon; and his siblings, Virginia Michaletz of Algoma and Carl Brennecke (Carol) of Mattoon. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren.
