He was predeceased by : his parents, Walter Sr. Schultz and Erna Schultz (Schmidt); his sons, Dennis and Robert Schultz; and his brothers, Marvin Schultz (Cora), Reuben Schultz (Doris), Al Kielman and Jim Pecha.

He is survived by : his wife Lois Dabill of Peter's Lutheran Church Parsonage; his children, Marlene Wendt (David) of Hatley, DeWaine Schultz (Jeannie) of Mattoon, Karen Lenzner (Gerald) of Eland, Michele Welch (Andy) of Bowler and Julie Verhasselt (Jeff) of Antigo; and his brother Walter Schultz Jr. (Bernette). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild.

Visitation was held on Thursday, June 13th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church - Mattoon (304 Flint Ave, Mattoon, WI 54450). A funeral service was held on Thursday, June 13th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location.
