She is survived by: her children, Karen Ruppert (Doug), Gail Benson (Paul Peters), Don Benson (Lorraine) and Julie Brilla (John); and her siblings, Robert Hale (Char) and Gloria Nicotera. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren.
