He is survived by: his parents, Kenneth Brueggen and Cleo Brueggen (Schiferl); and his siblings, Joe Brueggen (Lisa), Marie Walsh (Randy), Geno Brueggen (Linda), Dale Brueggen (Alice), Kate Jackan (Tim) and Dan Brueggen (Wendi). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
