He was predeceased by: his parents, Ted Rasmussen and Mae Rasmussen; his wives, Lillian Rasmussen and Charlotte Jackson; his son LaMont Rasmussen; his son-in-law Larry Falconer; and his siblings, Douglas, Richard, Donovan, Allen, Neil, Gloria and Charlotte.

He is survived by: his daughter Kathy Falconer of Marshfield, WI; his grandchildren, Becki Hanish (Vern) of Marshfield, WI, Heather Eisner (Joe) of Rib Lake, WI and Jeff Falconer of Marshfield; his great grandchildren, Chantell Wibben (Steve), Brooke Knowles (Jade), Joey Eisner (Cassidy) and Nicholas Eisner (Caitilin Ledin); his brother Garth Rasmussen (Dolores) of Racine, WI; and his sisters-in-law, Marion Rasmussen, Marlene Rasmussen and Jan Rasmussen. He is also survived by 11 great-great-grandchildren.
