It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Virginia A. Burk of Marshfield, Wisconsin, born in Wausau, Wisconsin, who passed away on June 23, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Fox and Alvina Fox; her husband Jack C. Burk; her brothers, Lawrence, Jerome and Bob; her sister-in-law Helen Burk; and her great grandchildren, Noah Valdez and T. J. Wilcott.
She is survived by: her children, Jim (Cindy Burk), Terry (Glenna Burk), Sue (Paul Wilcott), Jon (Deb Burk) and Bonnie (Tom Umhoefer); and her siblings-in-law, Tom and Sally Nester. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19 the family requests a private family Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Marshfield, with Rev. Keith Kitzhaber officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Sacred Heart Church.
