He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Napoleon Ejercito and Felicitacion Santos Ejercito; his brother Roberto Ejercito; and his son Philip Ejercito. He is survived by: his wife Nemi Ejercito (Nemesia D. Pecson); his sons, Michael Ejercito (Karen Reed) and Steven Ejercito (Shouafoua Yang); his grandchildren, Sierra, Felicity, Dante, Skyllure, Sebastian and Sydney; his sisters, Eleonora Reyes (Crescencio) and Barbara Palacios; and his sister-in-law Johnita Cruz Ejercito (Roberto).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the House of the Dove, Our Lady of Peace Parish, or the Marshfield Clinic.
