He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Sparks and Eva Sparks (Wortman); his wife Diane Sparks (Trader); his siblings, Jerry Sparks, Eva McClead, John Sparks, Walter Sparks, Harold Sparks, Bob Tipton, Dave Tipton and Juanita LaLone; and his son Scott Sparks.
He is survived by: his sisters, Barb Schmidt (Al) and Elsie Rote; and his nieces and nephews, Diana Drexler (Glen), Laurie LaSee, Todd Sparks (Rachael), Terry Sparks (Corinna) and Dawn Coleman (Bret). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
