We are sad to announce that on July 12, 2023, at the age of 92, Thomas Nikolai of Marshfield, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Hazel Nikolai and Leo Nikolai; his wife Hilda (Stiglmaier); his siblings, Leo Jr. Nikolai, Floyd Nikolai, Nancy Dixon, Mary Lou Kirsch and Patricia Thies; his son Timothy Nikolai; and his grandson Brodie Nikolai.

He is survived by: his children, Thomas J Nikolai (Kathy Nikolai), Mary Jo Nikolai, Douglas Nikolai (Katie Nikolai) and Michael Nikolai (Emily Nikolai); his grandchildren, Jack, Matthew, Madeline, Remus, Sam, Vince, Jay, Rylie, Brynlie and Preslie; and his brother Donald NIkolai (Penny).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to be designated to MCHS Foundation to support the Nikolai Resident Research Endowment. Memorials can be sent to MCHS Foundation, 1000 N. Oak Ave. Marshfield, WI 54449 or made online at https://marshfieldclinic.org.
