She was predeceased by: her parents, Ervin Meissner and Margaret Meissner (Kaas); her husband Melvin Zschernitz; her son Randall Zschernitz; and her siblings, Arnold Meissner, Hilbert Meissner, Millie Kaczor, Lucy Wilsmann, Lorraine Sternitzky and Gerry Meissner.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Zschernitz (Dorothy), Jeffrey Zschernitz, Linda Kumm (Lee), Cheryl Vick (Don), Sandra Hill (Keith), Douglas Zschernitz (Mary Jo), Tammy Handrick (Tom) and Timothy Zschernitz (Carol). She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
