He is survived by: his wife Ruth A. Wartner; his sons, Paul Herkert (Becky) of Marshfield, Scott Herkert (Lori) of Verona, WI. and David Herkert (Toni) of Verona, WI.; his grandchildren, Anna Keuler (Jacob), Aaron, Shane (Serena), Jack, Max, Sam, Noah (Kailey) and Julia Herkert; and his siblings, Irene Susa, James Herkert, Lawrence "Bud" Herkert (Dora) and Ruben Herkert (Jo).
